Cricket teams arrive in West Indies for World Cup

"Reigning champion Australia arrived in Bridgetown, Barbados Thursday to start their defense of their title at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.

Despite suffering five straight defeats in recent one-day internationals the two time world champions are optimistic they can defend their title. Australia’s arrival follows that of world number one ranked South Africa. They arrived just after midnight in Port of Spain. The other sides arriving Thursday will be India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. The Indians are due in at the Norman Manly Airport. England, Ireland, Kenya, The Netherlands and Pakistan touch down Friday to complete the list of arrivals in the Caribbean for the tournament. "
