"The Indian cricket team's second and final preparatory camp for the Sri Lanka tri-series began here Monday - which was the birthday of coach Greg Chappell.
The 14 players selected for the series, beginning Aug 14, as well as pacers Lakshmipathy Balaji and Vikram Rajvir Singh and spinner Murali Kartik practised at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Monday was a special day for Chappell, back in India after a holiday in the US, as he turned 58. Meanwhile, selection committee chairman Kiran More arrived here Monday to pick probables for the Champions Trophy to be held in India in October-November."
