Gillespie's maiden century puts Australia on top

"Jason Gillespie hammered his maiden test century on Tuesday to boost Australia's domination in the rain-hit second and final cricket test. Gillespie was batting on 102 not out as Australia piled up a massive 364 for three on third day's tea break taking a first innings lead of 167. Gillespie, who came as a nightwatchman on the opening day, put on 154 in the unbeaten fourth wicket stand with Michael Hussey who was batting on 93. He earlier shared a 90-run third wicket partnership with captain Ricky Ponting who was run out on 52 in the day's first session. On day two, play was possible only for 22.4 overs before seasonal rain forced an early lunch with Australia racing to 151 for two in reply to Bangladesh's disappointing first innings total of 197."
