India went on a batting blitz to make amends for Sunday’s shock defeat, trouncing Bangladesh by 91 runs in the third and final one-day international to clinch the series 2-1 on Monday (Dec 27th).

It was India’s highest total against Bangladesh and their sixth-best ever in one-dayers. The visiting bowlers then restricted Bangladesh to 257 for nine, only Rajin Saleh putting up any resistance with a career-best 82 off 114 deliveries. Sachin Tendulkar finished with four for 54 with his occasional spin.
