Pakistan became the first under-19 team to retain the world title when they beat India by 38 runs in an extraordinary final on Sunday in Colombo.
Pakistan's chances seemed dim when they were bowled out for 109, with leg-spinner Piyush Chawla taking 4-8. But India lost six wickets in putting nine runs on the board, pace man Anwar Ali takign three wickets in his first over on his way to figures of 5-35. Chawla led a rearguard action with an unbeaten 25, but India were still bowled out in just 18.5 overs.
