Team India in simulated situation

India Cricket Match Test ODI News Indian Cricket News Photos Indian Cricket Team:

"The Indian team on Tuesday played out a simulated match situation during the cricket skills camp in Bangalore where the bowlers faced off against the batsmen.
Interestingly, Dinesh Mongia who has been included in the team to Sri Lanka as an all rounder, found himself on the bowling side. Unfortunately, it just wasn't his team's day as Team Rahul Dravid took on Team Ajit Agarkar. The idea for the bowlers was to restrict the batsmen, while they tried to pile on the runs. And perhaps with the exception of Harbhajan Singh, no one was really able to put a stop to a batting juggernaut that scored 242 for six in 40 overs. "

Pakistan Cricket Match News - Pakistan Cricket News & Photos Latest Cricket News:

"England beat Pakistan by 167 runs on the fifth and final day of the third Test at Headingley on Tuesday.
Victory saw England take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the four-Test encounter and meant they'd won a home Test series against Pakistan for the first time since 1982. Pakistan, set 323 to win, were bowled out for 155 with fast bowler Sajid Mahmood taking a Test best four for 22 and left-arm spinner Monty Panesar three for 39. Their fate was effectively sealed by a morning session which saw them collapse to 84 for five with Mahood, the son of Pakistani immigrants, taking two wickets for no runs in three balls. England had scored an imposing 515 in their first innings with hundreds from Kevin Pietersen (135) and Ian Bell (119) - the latter's third century in as many Tests. But Pakistan responded with 538 which featured a stand of 363, their best for any wicket against England, between Younis Khan (173) and Mohammad Yousuf (192). In a match where bat largely dominated ball, with both sides missing fast bowlers through injury, England scored 345 in their second innings thanks to 116 from captain Andrew Strauss and a Test-best 55 from recalled wicket-keeper Chris Read. The fourth and final Test of this series starts at The Oval on August 17. "

Skipper Mahela Jayawardene and Farveez Maharoof then took Sri Lanka to 341-6 before Jayawardene edged to Herschelle Gibbs at first slip after making 123. Hall took two more wickets before Lasith Malinga hit the winning run. It was Sri Lanka's highest fourth-innings run chase - and the sixth highest successful run chase in the history of Test cricket. It was also only the 11th victory by one wicket in Test history. Muralitharan's 22 wickets in the two matches were enough to win the man-of-the-series reward. "

Offering satire on all aspects of American pop culture, the monthly publication deflates stuffed shirts and pokes fun at common foibles. It is the last surviving title from the notorious and critically acclaimed EC Comics line. Publisher Gaines had suffered greatly from targeted industry censorship, the enmity of his fellow publishers, and a weak distributor, which had driven his prior line of EC horror comics from the stands.
